Nick & Woody aka The Prospectors
About Nick & Woody
Woody and Nick, aka The Prospectors, are new to the radio presentation stage. However they are not new to the live music stage and feel that Radio Caroline Spain can be seen as an extension of their live stage persona, with lively chat and fun times to be had. They worked for 12 months on the Costa Del Sol in 2004 and after returning to the UK for a while decided the time was right to return to Spain and came over to Benidorm to play live music in the bars. After a chance meeting with Paul Shanley, strange enough in a bar, they were asked to present a program of rocking good Country music. Playing music from present day country stars such as Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins, Gretchen Wilson and also superstar Garth Brooks, the boys also include some classic tracks from the likes of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jnr, Willie Nelson etc, as well as some ‘rocked up’ classics from the Southern Rock scene.
As well as presenting the Saturday afternoon country show Woody and Nick have been working on a Classic Heavy Rock show, with songs from Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Whitesnake a well as some from more modern albums. Nothing too heavy, just classic rocking tunes.

You can listen to Nick & Woody's Rock show on Friday evenings between 9pm and 11pm and there country show on Saturdays between 12noon and 3pm.
